Starface world is a positively uplifting place where everyone is safe & accepted exactly as they are. We support causes and do our own work in the world to help build a better, more supportive universe. The same thinking applies to the way we care for skin: we don’t identify flaws or imperfections, we just nurture what’s there—it’s perfect because it’s all just skin.
CAUSES WE SUPPORT
The Hetrick-Martin Institute for LGBTQ + Youth (HMI) works with teachers, school administrators, guidance and mental health counselors, after school providers and local government agencies to educate and inform policies that better support LGBTQ youth ages 13 - 24 and their families.
The Black-Led Movement Fund (BLMF) is a donor collaborative at Borealis Philanthropy that strengthens the capacity of the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) so that it can better shape policy agendas for Black communities, create viable alternatives to institutions that have been harmful to Black people, and build local Black community power.
Black Thrive and Global Black Thrive CIC are UK based organizations that aim to improve mental health and wellbeing of Black communities in Lambeth and Europe, while reducing health inequalities. Black Thrive also works with the National LGB&T Partnership and Lambeth Council to increase visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community. They identify challenges faced by the communities when it comes to achieving or maintaining positive mental health and wellbeing.
